Structured Recruiting Resources

All students participating in Structured Recruiting will be required to attend a series of workshops (either in person or virtually) to prepare them for the Structured Recruiting process. These workshops are designed to give you all the information you need to know about recruiting – including the format of each event, what to wear, what to bring, and how to best prepare yourself. Dates for these workshops are distributed to students at the beginning of the Structured Recruiting season. Information on additional resources can be found below:

Structured Recruiting Resume

All students participating in Structured Recruiting are required to put their resume into the MAC approved template. This format is designed by the MAC Career Services team in conjunction with our employer partners, in order for students to highlight the specific information that our employers are most interested in. You can access the resume template, and information and how to improve your resume here.

Professional Communication

All MAC students are expected to present themselves in a professional manner in both their written and verbal communication with faculty, staff, employers, and peers. You can access our guidelines for professional communication here.

Professional Attire

MAC Career Services will give students attire guidance before all Structured Recruiting events, but students should prepare to have a variety of both business casual and business professional outfits. You can access our guidelines for professional attire here.

Networking Guidance

Networking is a large component of the Structured Recruiting process, both with in person events and communicating with employers outside of events. Students seeking guidance on their networking strategy can access those resources here.

Interviewing Guidance

All students participating in Structured Recruiting will interview for jobs during our designated Interview Week. We believe all students benefit from interview practice, and should take the time to prepare before any interview experience. Students seeking information on interview preparation can access those resources here.
